Well, it's been a week since my last blog - *&^%$# it! I'm just going to let things be - lowering my expectations! So, I'm going to skip all the boring excuses and explanations that does nothing but serve as filler, this being part of that filler :D
Ok, so the most memorable was this past Tuesday - I got my very first tat!!! I scheduled my appointment with Rich at Infinity Tattoos about a month and a half ago - it's awesome!!! I found a cute bat pic, used his cherry blossom branch from pics of his work, and to make it a girl bat, I took the ribbon from a Hello Kitty image - so, in essence, I have here a Frankenstein bat! HA! Anyways, I have it a bit above my ankle on the inside - my plan is to continue the scene by adding the rest of the tree going down and the exposed roots to be along the inner side of my foot - adding a ground-scene of fallen cherry blossoms with a bug, either offering a peach to my bat(I need to name her by the way)...or, the bug will be cowering, trying to avoid becoming bat dinner, shown holding a sword and a shield... still contemplating the story line - I think bug offering a peach would be ideal, since bat and peach is a Chinese symbolism for good fortune and prosperous life. Stay tuned - I'll be working on it!
Ok, that was Tuesday...yesterday and today not a whole lot - just got done working in the front yard a bit, yesterday, I planted 2 more strawberry plants in hanging planter - I thought instead of flowers, I'd plant the strawberries - "Hood" - bought them at Al's right here on Barbur Blvd! It's supposedly a pilot program - if it does well, they'll stay, the pilot is through June 30th.
I have mudd all in my hair from the weed whacker - the ground was still soggy in spots and I did my usual Rambo-style gardening :D
Ok, jumping in the shower and getting to work in the dreaded 'office'!!!
